Colorado Mesa University National Alliance on Mental Illness
(NAMI) on Campus is a student-led organization. We are an extension of NAMI who is aimed at helping our peers at CMU.
Colorado Mesa is breaking new ground by being the first University in the state of Colorado to start NAMI on Campus.
Our goal as NAMI on Campus is to break the stigma that is attached to mental health conditions through various events.
Our officers and club members continue to work hard to create a safe space for students to be able to talk about mental health conditions with their peers.
As a club on campus, we are involved with volunteer work within our community to give back. Along with volunteering, coming up this Spring, we are seeking fundraisers at local businesses to give back to our community and raise money to fund NAMI on Campus.
Fundraisers and the support from all, allow us to be able to host events such as bringing guest speakers to campus to spread awareness about mental illness.
Stay up to date with what is happening by following our Instagram @cmunami or our Facebook page!
We thank all community members and everyone for their support as it helps our club to be able to continue to flourish and stop the stigma!
